Buying Blackbar grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the application for the 1.x version line. You may install and use it on Macs that you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, or share your license file publicly.
Blackbar includes a 14-day, fully functional free trial. After the trial, exporting is disabled until you purchase, but the app continues to open and you never lose access to your own files.
Purchases are a one-time payment of $19 (plus any applicable tax), processed by Stripe. Prices may change for future versions.
Because a fully functional trial is available before purchase, we generally do not offer refunds. If Blackbar does not work as described on a supported system, contact support within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you.
Blackbar is provided “as is”. While it is designed and tested to destroy redacted pixels irreversibly, you are responsible for reviewing each export before sharing it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the software.
